Smith’s research interests include reproductive justice, reproductive health care access and disparities for vulnerable populations, and strategic health communication. Currently, Smith’s research examines the reproductive and sexual health experiences of young adult cancer survivors. This research includes design and implementation of a mindfulness intervention and understanding partner communication among female young adult cancer survivors.
