Profile Field Tabs

Academic interests:

Disentangling the relationships between disability, aging, and health have large implications for preventing chronic disease. My research explores the temporal relationships between disability onset and chronic conditions (e.g., heart disease, diabetes, obesity, etc). I use national surveillance system data to examine these relationships among adults aging with lifelong disabilities. Results from my epidemiological studies help to inform health promotion efforts.
