Identifies individual fitness and rehabilitative goals in an Inclusive fitness environment. Emphasizes on the development of movement patterns, addressing individual needs. Focus may include: beginner, therapeutic, or adaptive movements.

Student Learning Outcomes

  • Introduction to safe movement patterns and principles of movement including cardio-respiratory, strength, flexibility and mobility.
  • Identify individual fitness goals, create plans towards goal achievement and self-reflection on self-efficacy
  • Exploration of fitness options including types of exercise, OSU and community fitness offerings
