Specialized courses requiring previous certification in SCUBA. Check the current schedule of classes for more information and prerequisites. Possible classes: altitude diver, night diver, search and recovery, deep diver, underwater navigation, equipment specialist.

Additional fees cover most equipment, texts, certification, and open water dive trips.Two 5-week courses can be completed in the same term. 

• Altitude Diver: This is a 1 credit 5-week class designed to introduce you to altitude diving and to help the student diver develop the skills, knowledge and techniques necessary for altitude diving. Lecture includes techniques, skills, knowledge, for safe altitude diving. Successful completion of this class, with attendance on the optional field trip, will lead to your PADI Altitude diver SCUBA certification. 
• Night Diver: Is a 1 credit 5-week class designed to introduce you to night diving and to help the student diver develop the skills, knowledge and techniques necessary to safely participate in night-diving activities.  Lecture includes techniques, skills, knowledge, for safe Night diving practices.  Successful completion of this class, with attendance on the optional field trip, will lead to your PADI Night diver SCUBA certification.

• Deep Diver: Is a 1 credit 5-week class designed to introduce you to night diving and to help the student diver develop the skills, knowledge and techniques necessary to safely participate in Deep-diving activities. Lecture includes techniques, skills, knowledge, for safe Deep diving practices.  Successful completion of this class, with attendance on the optional field trip, will lead to your PADI Deep diver SCUBA certification.
