Lecture includes techniques, skills, knowledge, in self-rescue and rescue of others in underwater emergencies. Lab includes practice of self-rescue and rescue of others in underwater emergencies. Successful completion of this class, with attendance on the optional field trip, will lead to your PADI rescue diver SCUBA certification. This course is typically offered in the second 5-week session of each term. 

This is a 5-week course and can be completed in the same term as another 5-week SCUBA special topic course.

Additional fee covers most equipment, texts, certification, and open water dive trip.
