Healthy Communities Outreach Project

“Story of Our Health”

Clackamas is creating a Mobile StoryWalk, “Story of Our Health”, to encourage families to spend time together outdoors in their communities, with a focus on healthy eating and physical activity. One of Clackamas county’s long-term goals is to increase local access and availability of affordable healthy foods.

The StoryWalk will collect pages of books along routes in Molalla throughout the summer of 2015, partnering with organizations and businesses to promote local resources and expose community members to local whole grains, fruits and vegetables, as well as opportunities for physical activity.
