This study investigates changes in elementary school students' affective states during recess over a school year, focusing on variations by gender, grade level, race/ethnicity, and initial affect scores.

When children don't feel good about how they look or their body size, does that make them less likely to want to run around, play sports, or be active during recess time at school?

Do people who live to extreme old ages have special genetic protection against Alzheimer's disease that most of us don't have?

Why do some people with a specific genetic variant live longer and healthier lives, and what's happening in their bodies to make this possible?
