We are currently recruiting participants for:

Quadriceps functions and Landing mechanics

"The Influence of Quadriceps Rate of Torque Development and Arthrogenic Muscle Inhibition on Knee Landing Mechanics during Different Landing Tasks in ACL Reconstructed Females"

The purpose of this study is to determine:

  •  if greater explosive quadriceps strength in females who have had an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction is associated with safer landing strategies; and
  • if a reduced ability to maximally voluntarily contract the quadriceps is related to lesser explosive strength.
