KIN 307 Pre-internship Seminar

KIN 307 Pre-internship Seminar

Experiential Learning in Kinesiology

This course helps you create personal practices for sustaining and becoming the person you want to be.

Purpose of the course

Internship prep (aka personal development for personal success) will support your personal and professional development.

After completing the course, you should have a greater sense of who you are and how you want to live your life.

You'll learn about skills most employers seek in future employees (NACE, 2019), and discover habits and positive values in order to execute those skills while accomplishing personal goals or a personal mission.

Why should I take this course?

Most courses in experiential learning expose you to the essential practicalities of daily work in a given field. This preparatory course requires you to examine yourself in relation to everything else. Are you human? Do you work with other humans? Do you have goals? Do you want to accomplish those goals?

This course helps you think deeply and create personal practices for sustaining and becoming the person you want to be.
