IMPACT Spring 2022 Programing

As we continue IMPACT resumption, we are excited for Spring 2022 term!

While not back at full capacity yet, we will be including up to 40 participants who are 5 to 21 years old.

In-person programing

IMPACT in-person programming will include gym or pool activities from 5:30-6:30 p.m. on Friday evenings.

Groups will alternate weeks in the pool and gym. Participants and the IMPACT staff will be divided into four cohorts. There will be limited use of shared equipment, and outdoor programming will be implemented as weather permits.

Face masks are welcome, but no longer required

Face masks are welcome, but no longer required at OSU. Those at higher risk should continue to wear masks. On March 12, 2022, the Oregon Health Authority lifted the statewide indoor mask mandate.

Dates

April 8, April 15, April 22, May 6, May 13, May 20, June 3 (last session)

There will be no IMPACT on:
April 29 and May 27

Participant Selection

Due to our need to limit capacity to 40, prioritization was given to Winter 2022 participants. From there, we randomly selected 15 from those between 5-11 years who submitted registration forms by the deadline.

Proof of vaccination or a recent negative test is no longer required

As of March 1, 2022, attendees at designated university events and activities (IMPACT being one of these activities) — as defined by the OSU Coronavirus Response Coordinator and in consultation with the local public health authority — are no longer required to show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test within the prior three days.

Please do a self-screen for COVID-19 symptoms before coming on-site for IMPACT activities and remain home if symptomatic or ill.

Families/Caregivers can enter the building and drop off participants with their IMPACT assistant.
