Oregon's child care deserts grow more barren as parents try to return to work

According to the latest bi-annually published data analysis commissioned by the state's Early Learning Department and conducted by Oregon State University, all 36 of Oregon's counties are considered "daycare deserts." This means that there are at least three children under the age of 2 for every available child care slot in the county.
