OSU nutrition faculty, students and alumni sweep awards at 2026 Oregon Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics conference

College of Health faculty, students and alumni claimed four awards at the 2026 Oregon Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Annual Conference, a sweep that reflects the strength of the college's nutrition and dietetics programs. Honorees included:

Gia Saporito, RD, OSU DPD '18 and OSU Dietetic Internship '19, director of nutrition services at Sherwood School District — Emerging Dietetics Leader Award

Laura "LJ" Stypka, OSU DPD '26 — Outstanding Student Award

Jennah Laxamana, MS-PD '26 — Outstanding Dietetic Intern Award

Michelle Bump, MS, RD, director of online programs and director of the Didactic Program in Dietetics — Outstanding Dietitian of the Year.
