Interdisciplinary MPH student bridges environmental health, toxicology and medical research
Zach Kowash, an MPH student in environmental and occupational Health, presented research at the Society of Toxicology (SOT) conference examining cadmium-induced molecular mechanisms related to Alzheimer’s disease.
Conducted in the laboratory of Dr. Julia Cui, head of OSU’s Department of Environmental and Molecular Toxicology, the work highlights the interdisciplinary nature of the College of Health's graduate programs and the close collaboration between environmental and occupational health and toxicology.
