HDFS student advocates for OSU-Cascades health and recreation center and wins

Allison Barr, a human development and family sciences student and vice president of the Associated Students of Cascades Campus, traveled to Salem to advocate for a new Student Health and Recreation Center at OSU-Cascades.

Her efforts, alongside those of fellow students, community members and campus leaders, paid off. The Oregon legislature approved funding for the project.

The new facility will expand health and wellness resources for students at OSU Cascades, reflecting a broader commitment to student well-being.
