Public health faculty present on equity in academia at national summit

Associate Professor Jonathan Garcia and Instructor Ashley Vaughn presented at the 2025 Partners for Health Equity Summit in Montgomery, Alabama. They shared progress on the Transforming Academia for Equity initiative, funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.

Jonathan joined a panel discussion on individual and institutional barriers, strategies, and wins in health equity, while Ashley presented OSU’s journey across three rounds of RWJF funding, highlighting milestones, lessons learned and future goals.
