HDFS alumna produces Nike Super Bowl commercial
Haley Thomas, ’16, saw her Super Bowl dream come true this year when a commercial she produced aired in one of the most coveted — and expensive — advertising slots of the year.
An HDFS alumna and freelance creative producer for Nike and its North America Brand Voice, Haley worked with the Portland-based Wieden + Kennedy advertising agency to create the ad.
“For the Super Bowl, my job was to partner with the most creative people in the world and turn our ideas into something tangible that can live across broadcast, digital, social, retail and out-of-home placements,” she says. "I knew the work I produced was going to live across every facet of the Nike ecosystem, so I had to be both flexible and diligent, ensuring nothing fell through the cracks. This meant weekend work and midnight emails, but every minute was worth it for me. I genuinely love what I do, and producing a Nike Super Bowl ad has been my goal for more than seven years."
