Doctoral student presents HIV prevention research at APHA 2025

Congratulations to Phales Milimo, a doctoral student in public health - global health, who presented her research at the 2025 American Public Health Association (APHA) Annual Meeting in Washington, D.C.

Phales shared a poster presentation titled “Exploring the Role of Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis in the Prevention of HIV/AIDS in Young Adults Aged 15–24 Years Old in Zambia.” In addition to presenting her research, she served as a moderator for a session on innovations, ethics and equity in maternal healthcare.
