Doctoral student presents climate and gender equity research at APHA 2025

Congratulations to Memuna Aslam, a doctoral student in public health - health policy, who presented her research at the 2025 American Public Health Association (APHA) Annual Meeting.

Her presentation was part of the Climate Change and Global Health session and explored how climate change disproportionately affects female life expectancy around the world. Her study also examined the role of women’s political empowerment in addressing these gendered health disparities.

Thank you, Memuna, for contributing to vital global health conversations and representing the College of Health on a national stage!
