College of Health faculty contribute to 'Positive Youth Development' book

Several College of Health faculty are authors of a forthcoming volume entitled “Positive Youth Development: Integrating Research and Practice,” co-edited with Theresa Ferrari at Ohio State University.

Mary Arnold, professor and 4-H youth development specialist and co-author, says, “Theresa and I longed for a textbook for youth development practitioners and students that was solidly grounded in research but written to a lay audience with direct application to youth development practice. In the end, we decided to do it ourselves!

The researchers and scholars who contributed to the volume did a brilliant job writing in this style, and the volume has received glowing reviews throughout the editorial process. Those authors include Shauna Tominey, Jey Blodgett, Linda Fenske, Asia Thogmartin and Jasmine Tua Karing."
