EOH doctoral student receives grant to evaluate the well-being of Oregon Commercial Fishermen
OEB Lab and EOH program doctoral student Allen Chan, received a PTOP grant from the NIOSH-funded Northwest Center for Occupational Health and Safety (NWCOHS). Under HDFS Associate Professor Kelly Chandler’s guidance, Allen will be evaluating the well-being of Oregon Commercial Fishermen using the NIOSH Worker Well-Being Questionnaire (WellBQ). Given its very recent development, Allen’s study will be the first study using the WellBQ among commercial fishermen.
