Tammy Bray, PhD

Dr. Bray's research evaluates alternative protein sources as a feasible, environmentally sustainable protein supplement to combat childhood malnutrition globally. She is interested in antioxidants and free radical metabolism to prevent diabetes and the role of diets in gene expressions that influence susceptibility to chronic diseases.

Josh Jorgensen

Josh Jorgensen, PhD

Dr. Jorgensen’s research focused on micronutrient supplementation of pregnant women and infants in low-income countries to improve health outcomes of moms and kids. Dr. Jorgensen also researched intestinal microbiota, breast milk oligosaccharides, and bioactive breast milk proteins and how those impact the health of infants. Dr. Jorgensen is passionate about nutrition and loves learning more about the ever-changing field of nutrition through questions from and conversations with students.
