College of Health

We work alongside global partners in addressing health challenges and prepare the globally-minded public health professionals of tomorrow to empower communities around the world.

We prepare the globally-minded public health professionals of tomorrow to not just provide resources but to also empower communities around the world.

We are uniquely positioned for this work thanks to our close partnerships across Oregon State University and with non-government organizations, community-based organizations, fellow academic institutions as well as government and UN agencies.

In addition, the OSU Center for Global Health is a community of learning and service that brings Oregon State University and our partners around the world together to address current and future global health challenges. While the center’s projects are diverse, they all share a common theme: Community ownership of equitable and sustainable health development. Projects leverage Oregon State University’s interdisciplinary expertise by educating and empowering communities to tackle issues ranging from environment, hygiene and water to food security and nutrition to mental health and more.

The college’s global health efforts do not just provide resources; we empower communities to make lasting changes that improve their quality of life for generations, while training the next generation of global health professionals who will continue to address current and future global health challenges.

With the partnership of our donors, we will take our interdisciplinary research, partnerships, education and training to the next level in order to promote innovative and equitable solutions in specific fields and regions of the world and become a recognizable leader in global health.
