FAQ
Desk-side green bins
How do I get my green desk side bin emptied?
You must empty your own green desk recycle bin. There are designated 90 gallon green bins in the buildings, see below for designation.
Who empties the green recycles bins in the graduate student offices or shared offices.
Someone will have to take the responsibility and dump it in either the schools 90 gallon bins or into the two bag bins located in hallways and copy rooms.
Double bags
What are the double bags in copy rooms and hallways for?
You can put any “paper recycling” in these bags. Recycling comes and empties these bags periodically. They should not be move, recycling has lists of where they are.
Cans and bottles
Where can I dispose of cans and bottles so that they will be recycled?
Throughout the buildings there are green containers with a blue top with holes. Also, the metal bins throughout buildings have a slot for cans and bottles.
