Lori Hodgert

Lori Hodgert joined the Office of Student Success in the College of Health in August 2025. She serves as the Administrative Manager, supporting both the Associate Dean of Student Services and Well-being and the Office of Student Success. In her role, she leads operations with a focus on organization, inclusivity, and student engagement.

Lori began her Oregon State University career in 2019 and has worked in both the College of Forestry and the College of Agricultural Sciences. Throughout her time at OSU, she has remained committed to fostering environments where every voice is heard and respected. She also brings a wealth of office experience, including several years as a licensed property manager.

A lifelong Oregonian, Lori values her faith and strong family roots in the region. She enjoys spending her free time outdoors and playing games with family and friends. She is affectionately known as the “squash lady” for her butternut hobby farm, which is an identity that reflects her high-energy, entrepreneurial spirit, and deep commitment to community and connection.

Lori continues to grow professionally and personally, and lives by one of her favorite quotes from Mother Teresa of Calcutta: “Let us always meet each other with a smile, for a smile is the beginning of love”. This serves as a daily reminder that even the smallest gestures can radiate warmth and connection.
