Research focuses on race/ethnic disparities, particularly as it relates to tobacco use, including new and emerging products and other substances. Other areas of interest and experience are in co-parenting, sibling, obesity prevention, and substance use prevention interventions.

Biography

PhD in Preventive Medicine with an emphasis in health behavior
MPH in Biostatistics and Epidemiology from the University of Southern California

Prior to coming to Oregon State, she was a Research Assistant Professor at the School of Community and Global Health at Claremont Graduate University; she also was a lecturer at the Keck School of Medicine–Preventive Medicine at USC. Previous positions included Research Associate at the Prevention Research Center at Pennsylvania State University.
