Garett Gangelhoff started dancing as a junior in highschool in the 2015-2016 school year. He took classes at a studio in Beaverton called MVP Dance Elite for two years. The styles he trained in at MVP was Hip Hop and contemporary.

After graduating from Southridge Highschool in 2017, he pursued his career in dance at Western Oregon University. There he studied Hip Hop, Ballet, Jazz, and Modern for four years. Within those four years, he performed in many student and professor pieces.

After graduating college in 2021, he had the pleasure of working with Rainbow Dance Theater for the next two years. With RDT he has performed in at least 100 school shows. He also gained experience in teaching Hip Hop at the Inspiration Dance Company while he was performing with RDT.
