Biography
I have been with OSU Extension since 2003 and with the 4-H Youth Development program in Coos County since 2006. I am also a proud Oregon 4-H and OSU alum.
My areas of focus include natural resource education, youth-adult partnerships and volunteer management. One of my current interests is social emotional learning and how to foster those skills in youth and adults through 4-H.
Coos County 4-H partners with a variety of agencies and community organizations to offer educational programs for youth ages 5-19. Our community partners include Confederated Tribes of Coos, Lower Umpqua, Siuslaw; Coquille Tribe; state and federal natural resource agencies; six school districts; neighboring county 4-H programs; other Extension program areas; two local FFA chapters; and an amazing team of adult volunteers. We offer 4-H programming in a variety of formats including clubs, day and overnight camps, school enrichment programs, trainings and workshops.
