Biography

Daniela earned her Bachelor's degree in Biology from the National Autonomous University of Mexico in 2012. She began her career in public health in 2011, working on a project focused on antibody detection following the 2009 H1N1 influenza pandemic in Mexico.

Since moving to the United States in 2015, Daniela has been dedicated to improving language access in healthcare settings through translation and interpretation services. In 2023, she obtained her Master of Public Health (MPH) in Health Systems and Policy from Oregon State University.

Daniela joined OCHI in 2022, and since then, she has been involved in various projects that aim to ensure health equity, collaborating with community partners to make a meaningful impact on public health.
