Academic interests
Courtney is an assistant professor of practice at Oregon State University, where she assists in the development and delivery of substance abuse prevention and mental health promotion programs for various populations and settings.
She also provides resources and guidance to community partners and coordinates with grant funding agencies to ensure the quality and sustainability of the efforts.
Biography
For over 20 years, I have been working in the field of behavioral health and prevention, with a passion for empowering individuals and communities to achieve optimal health and well-being. I have a PhD in Health Behavior, an MPH in Social and Behavioral Health, and an M.S.Ed in Mental Health Counseling, which equip me with the knowledge and skills to design, implement, and evaluate effective and culturally responsive programs and interventions.
