We believe health is a human right. That’s why the college is helping to care for YOU.
Personal care baskets are now available in restrooms in the Women’s Building and Bates Hall (Fall 2019). These items are donated by faculty and staff in the College of Public Health and Human Sciences. If you would like to donate – or create your own personal care basket – email Kaycee Headley or Kathryn Stroppel. You may also donate your items directly in a basket of your choice.
Items can include deodorant, facial tissues, body or face wash, toothpaste, facial treatments, hair or nail clippers, lip balm, shampoo and conditioner, cotton pads, razors, moisturizer, wet wipes, cotton swabs, condoms, soap, contact lens solution, dental floss, tweezers, dental dams, shaving cream, menstrual products such as tampons and pads, and more.
For more information on the need for free and accessible tampons and pads in restrooms outside the home, visit freethetampons.org.
