What inspired or interested you about your field of study? And why did you choose OSU/the college?

I chose OSU because I have grown up in Corvallis, and always wanted to be a beaver! HDFS fit the mold of the things that Interested me, and what I felt would guide me in the direction of my life’s goal, helping people.

Tell us about your time at Oregon State and in the college. Is there someone or something who/that helped you be successful?

Being successful here at Oregon State was largely due to my wonderful professors, who made learning fun and interesting!

What are your post-college dreams/plans?

My dream is to work in the sports industry! I’d love to work with athletes and make a difference in sports. I want to somehow aid in making a change in how sports are mainly male dominated!

Anything else you'd like to add?

My favorite teacher is Teresa Ashford, as she was not only my college professor, but my pre school teacher at Bates when I was a kid! It was full circle being in the classroom with her again!
