Meet the Class of 2023

Andrea Harris

HDFS, KIN-Exercise science minor

Andrea is graduating with a bachelor’s degree in human development and family sciences-human services option and a minor in exercise physiology.  

She was accepted into every graduate program she applied to and will attend Texas Woman’s University this fall to take her human services degree to the next level. 

Alohi Lilly

Nutrition

Alohi Lilly is well on her way to fulfilling her dream of becoming a registered dietitian.  

She graduates with her Bachelor of Science degree in nutrition – dietetics option in June and starts OHSU’s Master of Science in human nutrition and dietetic internship program this fall.

Riley Acott

Kinesiology

Riley Acott started as an engineering student, but after a few months of classes and some reflection, he decide to make the switch to Oregon State’s kinesiology – pre-therapy and allied health degree. He’s never looked back.  

Riley is graduating this June with a 4.0 GPA, an accomplishment earned while working around 20 hours per week throughout his college career, volunteering and picking up rock climbing.

MPH - Health Promotion and Health Behavior

"With my MPH I was able to connect my passions to the broader discipline of public health and are able to see the interconnectedness of human health with other areas such as politics and environmental health."

Kira Frever

Kira loved studying public health because she loved getting to work with underrepresented groups, solving health and social issues, addressing the social determinants of health, emphasizing preventive medicine and improving community health.
