Throughout my internship at NeighborImpact Early Head Start, I created health education tools to ensure that the home visitors can meet all requirements held by the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services. These tools focused on prenatal health and well-being, newborn care and development, disease outbreaks, and Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs).
After graduation, I plan on spending all of my time with my sweet baby boy and husband. Being a full-time employee, full-time student, and mom was hard and made life very busy, but I am so glad I did it. My professional plan is to obtain a career in the maternal and child health field.
My favorite memory of being a graduate student at OSU was meeting a fellow MPH Public Health Practice student, who will undoubtedly be a lifelong friend.
