Internship title/site and brief summary: 

Health Systems Biostatistician intern. During my internship, I provided consultation for design and analysis to investigators developing investigator-initiated research. After getting data, I need to complete data entry and cleaning tasks. And then my main work is to conduct data analyses by using Excel and R studio. Most importantly, I also presented findings through written reports and graphical representation. Besides, I also supported education and outreach programs with design and evaluation advice in my daily work. It's also necessary to provide general consultation on SHS projects after I finished one project.

Professional / academic / life plans after graduation: 

I want to find a job related to my major. I am also considering pursue a PhD when I get more understanding about public health from work experience.

Favorite memory of being a graduate student at Oregon State: 

I am so lucky that I met so many kind professors. They are so energetic, positive and helpful.

Impactful faculty mentorship: 

I am so luck to have Adam Bransum as my advisor. He is a respectable gentleman. He is so patient and kind when I ask him for help. He helped me keep on track all the time. Talking to him helped clear my mind and lift my spirit.
