Undergraduate Research Awards Program (URAP)
The Undergraduate Research Awards Program (URAP) provides unique learning opportunities and resources to students to engage in faculty-mentored research. The goal is to provide experiential learning activities beyond the classroom and provide opportunities for faculty to mentor undergraduates. URAP encourages participation by a diverse group of undergraduate students and is not limited to high-achieving students. No prior research experience is required for many of the opportunities available to students. This program is supported by the College of Public Health and Human Sciences.
URAP has one application cycle per year, with recruitment of both faculty mentors and students during Fall term. To be eligible, applicants must be enrolled as full-time, degree-seeking students at Oregon State University, Corvallis campus, during Winter and Spring terms 2017, AND be majoring in one of the programs in the College. The URAP project period spans Winter through Spring Terms 2017. For those selected, the College provides a Scholarship in the amount of $1500. For detailed information, see the links below.
