I was visiting my children and grandchildren recently and as we sat around the breakfast table, they were all on their computers and I was enjoying the morning newspaper. “Already working?” I thought. “Too bad they just can’t relax with the paper for a bit before their day starts.” As I began to relate a story I was reading, they all chimed in with their reactions before I could get the facts out. Then I realized they WERE reading the “paper” – online. And they were reading the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post…any paper they wanted. “Welcome to our world,” they chuckled.
And so here I am, proudly joining the world of online social networking with our new blog. We’re eager to hear your opinions about our blog, our stories, and ideas for future stories.
