Welcome to Synergies – the second installment of our monthly online news! We were pleased with a GREAT response from more than 350 alumni and friends who subscribed to Synergies online. Feel free to send the link to anyone who might be interested in the work we are doing toward our mission of Taking Care of Life!
Just a note to let you know that despite these tough economic times, we’re faring well here in the College of Health and Human Sciences. I was out in my yard cutting roses the other day, and got to thinking about how much pruning is like our process of budgeting. Any action we take needs to be strategic, intentional, thoughtful, and with an eye to the future.
We must stand back, consider our options, and make decisions carefully. We won’t cut randomly, but will make decisions thoughtfully and with anticipation for what that will mean for the future – for our foundation and for our growth.
Thank you for your interest in our college and in our very bright future.
