Study Tours

Western Europe

You're invited to come to Europe with us to experience 2,000 years of architecture, interiors, and dress. You will tour ancient ruins, Renaissance art and architecture, famous museums, and contemporary design in some of Western Europe’s most exciting cities. We will take trains, subways, boats, coaches, and planes to explore London, Paris, Florence, and Rome. Hong Kong

Travel with a small group to Hong Kong.  Events include live fashion shows, seminars, designers' contests, latest fabrics and future trends. You'll stay in a four star hotel, enjoy an orientation tour and have time to visit other notable markets, museums and sites.  For more information, view our Hong Kong Application.

Exchange Opportunities

Exchange with Fu Jen University, Taiwan
This program is designed to allow students to be independent while at the same time have access to the host faculty member from Fu Jen University. Located in bustling Taiwan, Fu Jen campus is centrally located with easy access to the downtown shopping district and cultural sites. Course work will be primarily focused on electives and Bacc core requirements and is a perfect opportunity for first and second year students who often are not eligible for other programs that require Junior/Senior standing.

DHE students have a variety of options in finding the right study abroad and international program. An international experience can provide DHE students with necessary skills to work effectively with an increasingly diverse U.S. population and global job market. Employers in fields related to Design and Human Environment, which include apparel design, interior design, housing studies and merchandising management value the skills and experiences gained by students who study abroad. There is an international experience that will work for every Design and Human Environment student.
