Research Interests
My research interests focus on supporting optimal development of young children through family oriented services. My current focus is on increasing early childhood program prevention efforts to address the causes of obesity among young children. The Child Development Center offers a laboratory preschool program that combines comprehensive prekindergarten education, health, nutrition, and social support services to enhance child growth and development. The lab serves as an early childhood program model that merges public and private funding streams, includes children with special developmental needs, and serves children from many social, economic, language and cultural backgrounds.Long Vita
