Research/Career Interests:

My research focuses on human development prenatal through age eight, including children (especially those with special needs), their families, and the community contexts and systems that nurture their development. Areas of particular interest are transition planning between settings, emergent literacy, television viewing, and personnel development. Currently we are working on an approach to leadership development to promote quality services across early childhood agencies and disciplines.
