Her research interests include community-based participatory research methods, family caregiving of Latino elders and aging-related health disparities in this population.

Biography

Carolyn Mendez-Luck is Assistant Professor of Human Development and Family Sciences and Health Management and Policy in the School of Social and Behavioral Health Sciences.  She completed her Ph.D. and M.P.H. degrees from the University of California, Los Angeles. Prior to joining OSU, she was an adjunct assistant professor of Community Health Sciences at the UCLA School of Public Health, and a faculty associate with the UCLA Center for Health Policy Research. Carolyn is also one of our new bridge faculty.  She will be teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in gerontology, including culture, aging, and health.
