Research Interests

Laurel's research interests include: occupational exposure assessment for chemicals and electromagnetic fields, occupational exposure assessments for musculoskeletal injury interventions,and interventions for reducing young worker injuries.

Biography

Before joining OSU, Laurel was a Research Fellow at the Centre for Research in Environmental Epidemiology (CREAL), Barcelona, Spain working on multinational case-control study investigating occupational exposures to chemical agents and electromagnetic fields and the risk of brain tumors. Previous to working at CREAL, she was a Research Associate at the Labor Education and Research Center at the University of Oregon.
