Dani joined the communications team for the College of Public Health and Human Sciences from Oahu, Hawaii. She received a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a master’s degree in teaching from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Dani has wide ranging experience in public relations, marketing and writing. Before coming to OSU, she worked at the Hawaii Medical Service Association as a corporate writer, where she primarily wrote about health and well-being topics for internal projects and the company’s magazine and blog. She previously served as an account executive at two of Honolulu’s largest public relations agencies, representing a variety of clients including a natural foods retailer. She also spent a year as a media liaison for the Hawaii State Legislature.
