In the spring of her senior year, Hoda Eslamizar traveled to Israel – to connect with her faith, study the retail industry, and experience the sights, sounds, and tastes of this remarkable country. A member of the Baha’i faith, Hoda fulfilled a lifelong dream of visiting the Baha’i Shrine and Gardens in Haifa. The story of her journey, which includes numerous engaging photos was written for Design and Human Environment 401: Research and Scholarship.
Hoda graduated in June from OSU’s honors college with a degree in merchandising management and is working for Fred Meyer as an assistant buyer. She is training in the Tualatin store and will move to the main office soon where she will direct store associates. We miss her in the College of Health and Human Sciences Dean’s Office where she was one of our very capable student workers for two and a half years!
