College of Public Health and Human Sciences
Strategic Planning Process 2017-2018

The college is launching a new strategic planning project to realize its extraordinary potential in education, research and outreach. The project will create strategic directions, priorities and initiatives that are fiscally based to:

  1. Create a compelling vision to establish priorities and define possibilities for solving tomorrow’s greatest health challenges.
  2. Leverage the college’s recent accreditation and remarkable growth for greater visibility and strategic opportunity.
  3. Advance new ways of addressing health and its social determinants through interdisciplinary collaborations with partners in academia, business, government and community outreach.
  4. Promote Oregon State’s Strategic Plan 4.0 and its signature areas through the college’s priorities and contributions.
  5. Define strategic investments in key areas of excellence.

We are creating an iterative and transparent process that includes opportunities for stakeholders and the community to participate and influence the results. Our plan will articulate our specific vision and key goals for the next five years, which have been viewed through a 10-year lens, and with the intent to influence outcomes for the next 20 years. We look forward to working together in the spirit of collaboration to create a vibrant and impactful future!
