Collecting Well-being MetricsBill Reed, is co-founder of Elite Care's Oatfield Estates, a residential care facility south of Portland, Oregon that is world-renowned for its use of technology to empower residents and connect family members. In this video Bill discusses the social metrics that they use to track their residents' well-being in their communiteis. Bill Reed and Lydia Lundberg have received international recognition for their use of technology and innovative design. They were awarded the Computerworld Honors Program 21st Century Achievement Awards in 2001, have advocated for the use of technology in long term care before the Senate Special Committee on Aging, at the White House Conference on Aging, and before the United Nations. original presentation: 4/20/2011 |
