Support the Oregon State KidSpirit and Faculty and Staff Fitness programs by participating in this football themed obstacle run.  The event is geared toward having fun and being active. The obstacles will be made up of football drills that each participant will navigate through on the Oregon State campus to the final touchdown celebration at the finish.

No football competition would be complete without a tailgate. When participants finish their run they will be ushered into our College Tailgate where they can kick back and enjoy food, beverages (for both those over and under 21), a taste test Grid Iron Challenge competition, and learn about the great things the only Accredited College of Public Health and Human Sciences in Oregon is doing in our state.

Showering facilities and Childcare (by KidSpirit) will be provided at no additional cost.

Awards will be given to

  • Overall Male and Female winners of the 5K
  • 1K winner
  • and plenty of door prizes for all who are present and participated

Here is a little more info on what you will be getting into

1K Participants:
Will run around 1K distance and along the way complete 4 football drill stations.

5K Participants:
Will run around 5K distance and along the way complete 8 football drill stations. Think of this as your training. You will do agility based drills, run conditioning, then perform strength drills all before you finish with your best TD celebration.

  • Barrel Roll (Oklahoma Drill)
  • Juke the Defense
  • High Knees
  • Rear End Kicks
  • Karaoke Drill (Side Shuffles)
  • Broad Jump (or forward jumps)

  • TD Celebration to Finish the event
