The ceremony honors CPHHS graduate students, from all programs, who completed their master’s level or PhD degrees during academic year 2014-2015, which includes Fall 2014 through Summer 2015.
The ceremony will be in Milam Auditorium on the OSU Campus on Friday, of graduation week, 3-5pm.
Dr. Howard Koh, Professor of the Practice of Public Health Leadership and Director of the Leading Change Studio at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Dr. Koh served as the Assistant Secretary for Health for the US Department of Health and Human Services from 2009 – 2014.
It is optional for students participating in the ceremony to wear the graduation regalia-cap, gown and hood. For those who choose to wear the regalia, the program adviser will "hood" them during the ceremony. Those choosing not to wear the regalia will be honored in the same way as those who wear the regalia, but they will not be hooded.
Hooding regalia is available to purchase (for Masters students) and for rent (for PhD students) at the OSU Bookstore. Diplomas will not be awarded at the hooding ceremony.
A reception hosted by our college will be held in the Women's Building on the same afternoon TBD. You and your family are cordially invited to attend both events.
