Meal service and classroom cooking activities are supervised by the OSU Child Development Center's Dietitian. The OSU Child Development Center participates in the USDA Child and Adult Care Food Program. This participation demonstrates our commitment to serve healthy foods in adequate amounts to young children and ensures that no child will be discriminated against because of race, color, handicap, national origin, sex, or age. Any person who believes he or she has been discriminated against in any USDA-related activity should write to the Secretary of Agriculture, Washington DC 20250.

The OSU Child Development Center serves white meat only (turkey or chicken). Vegetarian options are available by request. We work with parents to address identified food allergies and food restrictions.
